As i said earlier, its a shame as i like shopping here and really like the bishops centre - just a shame it isn't M&S or Waitrose.

Previously I have spoken to managers about the poor quality of produce which is down to poor storage and staff who don't discard anything which is past its best. Today I went in after work at around 16:20 and the first department being produce, should be the most attractive but not the taplow store. Today the first thing I see on the section is rotten bags of broad beans, turn the corner and approach the melons and the first indication that there is something rotting is the swarm of fruit flies. I pick up a melon and my finger goes through it, followed by another 2 in the same condition. Next onto the pineapples, of which a few are wearing fur coats. I put a few of the rotting one's into one box and I would place bets that they find their way back onto the shelf. The last time I complained in the shop they told me that they do train their staff on quality control but if I did a sweep of the department I could easily fill a trolley with rotten food. How many customers walk out of there and shop elsewhere once they see the poor quality in the first department.

What I really dislike is the short life of their fresh products. On any given Sunday I would struggle to find salad or veg that are more than 3-4 days life. The meat and fish is the same. I have told staff about the products that are out of date, such as fresh chicken kiev. This is not really acknowledged, and certainly not removed from the shelf.

I used to shop here weekly when it first opened - as the store environment is good. It is light and has has wide aisles. The service is hit and miss with some great staff but truly, some of the most miserable checkout staff! I can accept this though as Tesco have never been famous for service and do not try to be.

Among never having anything in stock and the prices continually rising, I get mocked by the staff - one example I was asked for ID then was laughed at in my face when I started to fetch my drivers license and told "Haha I was just joking, but it's nice to be asked though isn't it?". Then as I walked into an aisle a member of staff stocking up started tapping his watch and yelling at me "Hurry up, you're supposed to be helping me aren't you? They said you're meant to help me!". At which point I had a full on anxiety attack. Then the fact that the staff smoke constantly outside and dump their cigarette butts on the ground so the entire flower bed looks like an ashtray. Sort it out and sort your despicable staff out.

Although I wish they would close later (currently it's 22:00), they have just about everything you need. Parking during busy hours is also difficult and with only 3 hours free, if you go to the other stores, you're likely to be fined if you don't pay their hourly fee.
